Christmas Gospel Rally 11th December 2005

It's indeed a blessing for me to drop by your blog and read those sermons.
As I saw your introduction, I found there are two things in common between us. One is that I am also an Indonesian spending more than twenty years living in Taiwan. The other and also the most important one is that we obtain so much teaching from the LORD through Rev. Stephen Tong, who makes his weekly special trip each Wednesday to Taiwan.
How awesome it is that we are united in Jesus Christ and boundless in His Kingdom.

Last week we read on the Christian newspaper called "Kingdom Revival Times" in Taiwan, that there were three Christian female being beheaded..so terrifying right? We all see the fire of revival is spreading throughout the country, while the persecution is being heard at the same time.
We need to pray for Indonesia's government and people, much more prayer for them all.

Like you, I treasure Rev.Stephen Tong's weekly sharing which probes the mind into deeper reflection of what Christian faith is about. It brings the heart to face up to the implication of Christian call. This blog on his sermons are meant to share with those who have the heart to know but not the opportunity to hear solid sermons, but I believe I have benefited most from my own notes. :)
Whether we are facing persecution or enjoying prosperity, from eternal viewpoint we live in a scary time where the greatest crisis is in losing our sensitivity in the things that truly matter. Few can stay watchful, we really need God's mercy.

Delighted to see the summary of Rev. Stephen Tong's sermons on your web-site. I've only been to one of his evangelistic rallies around 2 years ago and left with a very strong impression. Wondering how you're able to hear his sermons on such a regular basis?

Stephen Tong is doing expository preaching on the book of James every Sunday night 7.30pm at Newton Life Church. But this coming Sunday 4th Dec would be the last one for this year. 10th Dec would be Christmas rally at Spore Polytechnic. The expository preaching will resume next year. I can email you to keep you updated if you like.
I will keep updating in this blog my personal summary of his latest sermons.
